Chautaugua History Alive

If you like to be held spellbound, entertained, and enlightened – you’re  going to love Chautauqua History Alive. We take you on an astonishing journey into the past, where historic figures appear on stage, and you question them – no holds barred! And you, the audience, are always a part of the show. You laugh . . . you cry . . . you just flat out have a good time. Tuesday March 1 at 7:00 – 8:30pm  Amelia Earhart and Women in Aviation led by Lara Kaufmann .  Tuesday March 22 at 7:00 – 8:30pm Adventure in Mark Twain led by George Frein. Held at Hughes Main Library, downtown Greenville, 25 Heritage Green Pl, Greenville, SC 29601  Free and open to the public. 

Historic Latta Plantation Internship

Historic Latta Plantation will be looking to fill internship rolls throughout the 2016 year. Looking for candidates with a passion for history and education who work well with students. All interns will learn the basics of day to day operations within the historic site including tours, gift shop operations, special event planning, educational programming, and summer camp coordination. This is an ideal internship for someone interested in education, history, or the travel and tourism industry. We are flexible and can work with school requirements as needed.
