Homeschool Day at the Capitol

Homeschool Tickets at Newberry Opera House

The Newberry Opera House would like to offer a special ticket price for Home Schoolers. Educators, and Parents to see the warm-hearted and humorous play “Driving Miss Daisy” February 18th at either 3pm or 8pm showing. Tickets are $20 ea. Battle of the Bulge event at Latta Plantation

February 6th (10am-4pm) & February 7th (1pm-4pm)
Visit during this event to learn of the snowy Battle of the Bulge that took place during the end of World War Two. The plantation takes on the role as the Belgium countryside as spectators see demonstrations from both Allied and Axis forces. Ongoing demonstrations include patrols, weapons, drills, seeing a mock field hospital and more.  Admission: $8 Adults, $7 Seniors/Students, Children 5 & under are FREE  www.lattaplantation.org

 

Duke Summer College for High School Students

Here at Duke we have been accepting applications since December and we are receiving more applications even earlier this year than last.
